		<description>Thanks for the post, Erik. Among other things it finally got me off my ass to make a batch of rock &#039;n&#039; rye for myself. I followed LaNell&#039;s recipe (except I didn&#039;t have a spare slice of fresh pineapple kicking about). One thing that&#039;s obvious: her recipe uses whole fresh fruit slices (read: juice) while you used only peel. You also used a lot more horehound, the additional herbs *plus* honey in addition to the rock sugar. If you are interested in doing a taste comparison, I can bring what I made by the Dog sometime.
